From a crumbling apartment into a profitable property.

This investment apartment was acquired by one of our existing investors in 2017. The price of the unit was relatively low because it was a semi-basement apartment with bare crumbling walls.

Renovation.

Since the apartment is semi-basement, we knew who the target audience would be on Airbnb and Booking. That's why we opted for an industrial interior with a football and infrared sauna. We tried to renovate the apartment as soon as possible to catch up with the summer season, which we did – we completed the renovation in record time.

Short-term rental.

Thanks to the layout we designed, we were able to comfortably accommodate up to 11 people in the apartment. Regardless of the fact that the apartment is located in Zizkov, the average annual occupancy rate is over 85%. Why? Thanks to our profile on Airbnb and Booking, tasteful interior, nice little touches like a foosball and infrared sauna, professional photos, great customer and technical service.

Interesting facts.

During COVID-19, this apartment was the location of a Czech Television news report with our team about the impact of the pandemic on short-term rentals in Prague.
